Our Story – Global Purpose Driven Foundation (GPDF)
Global Purpose Driven Foundation (GPDF) was born out of a defining pause.
After years of serving as an Internal Auditor at SSNIT, our Founder made a deliberate decision to step away from corporate life in order to answer a deeper call: to invest in people, not just processes. That decision marked the beginning of GPDF — a purpose-driven nonprofit committed to empowering women and youth through discipleship, financial literacy, skills development, and the intentional integration of faith into everyday life.
Ghana is a nation rich in faith, yet many communities still struggle to translate belief into sustainable living. Faith is often practiced separately from economics, leadership, productivity, and personal development. GPDF exists to bridge this gap by helping individuals apply godly values to real-life decisions, livelihoods, and leadership.
At the heart of our work is a strong conviction: when women and young people are intentionally built, nations are rebuilt. Women today carry multiple responsibilities as caregivers, professionals, entrepreneurs, and spiritual pillars — often leading to exhaustion and burnout. By strengthening women and equipping children and youth, GPDF addresses both present challenges and future generational outcomes.
This mission is deeply personal. When our Founder’s daughter was hospitalized for eight days, she witnessed firsthand the financial and emotional burden mothers face in accessing healthcare. That experience inspired GPDF’s ongoing hospital outreach and support initiatives. Since 2024, we have reached families at the 37 Military Hospital (Paediatric Unit), Korle Bu Maternity, St. Andrews Hospital, and communities such as Kordiabe, restoring dignity and hope where it is needed most.
GPDF’s impact extends beyond relief to practical empowerment. With over six years of experience in events management and award-winning leadership through Plush Events, our Founder has facilitated skills-based training in event décor, planning, coordination, and creative entrepreneurship — including money bouquet and décor training at City of Hope Village, Kordiabe. These initiatives have equipped women, men, and youth with employable skills and income-generating opportunities.
Driven by a strong background in finance and a passion for economic empowerment, GPDF also runs the Catch Them Young (CTY) Financial Literacy Campaign, targeting Junior High and Senior High School students. Through this initiative, young people are introduced early to financial discipline, entrepreneurship, and responsible decision-making. In addition, GPDF convenes transformational platforms such as the Kingdom Builders Summit, where faith, leadership, and national development converge.
Over the years, the Foundation has supported orphaned and vulnerable children with school fees and educational needs, while also providing startup capital to young women at the University of Ghana, enabling them to begin small trade businesses and pursue financial independence.
GPDF is more than an organization — it is a movement committed to holistic transformation: spiritual growth, economic empowerment, and social impact. Everything we do is rooted in one belief:
